We are pleased to announce a new race sponsor for WVBC XXXIII. The race distance of 4 ½ furlongs has long been popular at Charles Town. The signature Breeders Classics race at that distance will now be the West Virginia Dash for Cash Breeders Classic, Presented by ROCKWOOL.
In memory of and appreciation for his lifelong dedication to Charles Town and it’s racing community, the Distaff will now be the West Virginia Roger Ramey Breeders Classic, Presented by Beau Ridge Farm. The farm’s stallion Fiber Sonde continues to provide outstanding Classics winners such as Runnin’toluvya, Late Night Pow Wow and Moonlit Song!
The West Virginia Lottery has been a sponsor of the Classics since its inaugural running in 1987.
